Back to school-Mason First Grade!!

Craziness!! First Grade, here comes Mason! He has been super excited for school to start and cannot wait to be in First Grade. I am so proud of his love for school and learning. Makes our job a lot easier. For the first day of school, he was up super early, before his alarm clock! Was dressed, breakfast done and ready to go with 30 minutes to spare! Hoping the rest of the year goes so smoothly!

 He wanted his St. Louis backpack this year! He said it was more "grown-up!".

My goal is to ask a few questions every year at the beginning of school to see how their likes and interests change over time. I love to hear the answers. Some change, some stay the same. Wishing only a life full of dreams coming true for all my guys!

-"What do you want to do when you grow up?"--"Take care of pets and be a part of a rescue department."

-"What is your favorite thing to do?"--"Find animals."

-"What is your favorite toy/thing to play with?"--"Nature stuff."

-"What is your favorite food?"--"Mac and Cheese and cookies!" (First he said anything healthy but then changed his answer. I knew better!!

And..just a quick note. Brad was gone the day of Mason's back to school orientation. I took all the kiddos by myself. It was craziness. There was my attempt at a family picture!

Mason on the other hand posed well :)
