Spring Concert

This past Wednesday Mason and Max had a spring concert and ice cream social at school. It really was cute. Max's class concert was first, followed by ice cream eating for us, then on to Mason's class concert. I was so proud to see them interact with their classmates and perform well in front of the crowd. They each did great! I, of course, wanted to catch the entire thing in pictures. So, we get settled in our seats for Max's concert, picking a great spot to see Max. I pull out the trusty camera, and YEP. You may have guessed. Dead battery. That thing wasn't taking any pictures that night. UGH!! Of course, Brad's comment "looks like you didn't check the battery before we left, huh?!?". Really?!?! I guess I forgot in the mix of getting everyone dressed, diaper bag packed, snacks, ect. The list goes on :) But, luckily, we did bring the video camera. I was prepared!! So we got to record the boys for family to see and I was able to snap a few pictures with my phone. What did we do without phones that took pictures? Crazy!!

Weekend fun

Just a quick note! Brad and I got a chance to hang out as grown-ups last weekend (thanks Grandma!) and headed to Indy for the night. It was so much fun to hang out together and remember we can still have adult conversation :) It was our first time leaving Matthew with Grandma and Grandpa but he did great. They all did great, so great I don't think they wanted to come home! I love our guys but it's also nice every once in a while to spend some time as a couple again.

Also, the guys headed to the barber shop this weekend for summer hair cuts. Mason's has always been fairly short so no big deal. Max, well he went a little shorter than Mommy would have like but he LOVES it. His comment, "I can see and feel my ears now!".

 Just a little difference :)

Matthew 9 Months

Really!?!?! Nine months already. I thought this time period went fast with Mason and Max but it really did fly with Matthew. Guess that's because we're busy chasing Mason and Max around too! Well, Matthew doesn't' want to be left out of the fun. The little guy is crawling around EVERYWHERE and pulling himself up on anything he can get his hands on. He wants to be apart of the action too! He eats just about anything (really haven't found anything he won't eat!) and is now able to sleep just about anywhere. He really is a go with the flow kind of guy now. We had a brief bout of not wanting to ride in the car, EVER! But, guess he just decided he better get used to it. Sorry buddy! I love waking up to him babbling and can most often find him standing up in his crib waiting for someone to come get him. He LOVES his brothers. They can get him to laugh just about any time any place, even church when we're trying to keep him quiet :) He's growing like a weed (20lbs, 29inches) and wearing 12 months clothes right now. These boys are really going to keep me in the shopping business (do you think I mind!?!?, well maybe the checkbook minds!). Love you little buddy, and looking forward to what's to come!
Absolutely LOVE the picture of Max and Matthew
(think they look a little alike!)

Easter!

We had a lot of fun being with family over the Easter weekend and the boys loaded up found a few Easter eggs! It's seems now the egg hunts go so much faster than before. Mason and Max really have down this finding candy thing! It was also fun going to church with my side of the family and Mason was soo excited to sit in the front pew during church. We didn't mention that it was because we were running right on time for church (not early like every one else). He loved being up close to the action :) We, of course, attempted a few group shots with the kiddos and although they are not all smiling at the same time we at least got them all in the same picture! It stinks that we all live so far apart from each other, which really isn't that far. But, when you have kiddos to pack up, hours to travel and only a few days to visit it seems like farther than closer. Makes you happy for those few moments together!
