Snow Cones!!

Well, it's been, how do you say it HOT!!!! I'm loving 90 degree days already, NOT! I do feel bad for the boys because they want to play outside all day, which I love they want to be outside, but this pregnant lady can only take these temperatures in moderation. So, as a treat for all their patience, we decided to head out for snow cones one afternoon. Of course the boys LOVED them. We did get a few complaints of stickiness, but that didn't stop them! I mean they were drinking the colored sugar at the end :) Here's to many more afternoons like these. I have a feeling it's going to be a hot summer!
YUM!!

Say CHEESE!
Big kids like them too :)

Tea Party and Doughnuts!

Over the weekend we headed to Terre Haute to celebrate Tyler's birthday and Father's Day. Although I didn't get any pictures of the party (what was I doing?!?!) I did get some cute pictures of the boys having a tea party. Brad's mom has this cute little tea set and let the boys put actual tea in it for an impromptu party. It was so cute!

A little cake with tea!

Sunday morning we started our Father's Day celebration with doughnuts. Sounded like a good idea to me :) The boys were so excited because it seems like we only eat doughnuts for breakfast at my parents' church or on vacation! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful dad myself and so lucky to have found such a fabulous man who is a wonderful dad to our boys. I (we) are beyond blessed!!!

LOVE THESE BOYS!!!

Play Ball

Since we've moved a closer to Brad's work he has been able to participate in more activities after work since the drive is not so long back home. One of those, playing some summer softball! Last week I took the boys to watch a game. It was fun and reminded me of childhood summers. Well, sort of, I could move better then, HA! Anyway, the boys had a great time!  Although I'm not sure they fully understand the game yet, they had a great time playing in the dirt!

Mason took this picture himself! He was so proud!!

Memorial Day Weekend...And a Birthday Party

We headed down south for the Memorial Day weekend festivities at my grandparents cabin. I can't really say it's camping due to the close availability of bathrooms, showers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.  But, our family did sleep out in a tent if that counts!!  It was a hot one but thank goodness for my grandparents cabin having air conditioning!!  Did I mention we went camping over the weekend :) During the afternoon one could often find my sister and I "helping" the kids with their naps. Ha!! Anyway, we had a great time visiting, playing in the water, riding the jet ski and four wheelers (yep, I did it too. It's in the book What to Do When Your Nine Months Pregnant!). Not to mention nighttime fires and a 3rd birthday party for Parker!! We were all a little exhausted by the end of the weekend!!!
