Fall Break...Tybee Island!

We were sooo very fortunate to be able to spend our fall break out of town and on vacation! Columbus schools have a two week fall break and we took full advantage. We spent vacation with family which made it all more fun. First we headed to Atlanta to visit the Georgia Aquarium. It was fantastic! We would all totally go again and would recommend it as a stop if you're heading south or as a trip all itself. There is so much to see and they have so many unique sea life.

Max and Matthew were not feeling all that well that day but they were such troopers. They had so much fun despite not feeling well. But, they were not fans of having their pictures taken :) And, as always, we wore Miles out!

There was a part of the aquarium where you could ride a conveyer belt under the water. It was amazing (and you didn't have to worry about running into people!). I'm pretty sure we rode through it at least 10 times.

After the aquarium we headed back to the hotel to pack-up and get ready for the next leg of the trip. But, we were able to take a little break and head over to the huge ferris wheel Atlanta has near Olympic park. It was beautiful at night.

Brad ended up flying out from Atlanta for work and was going to meet up with us later in the week at Tybee Island. So, the boys and I headed out with Deb, Keith, Steph and the kiddos for the rest of the vacation.
We were all looking forward to a little beach time.

Not a bad view for a week!

We headed to the fort one day for a little beach break. The boys were in love! Guns, bombs, a moat, they were in heaven!

Lock them in and throw away the key!

 Little soilders

Mason loved looking at the actual markings of bombs hitting the fort.

And then...we hit the beach or the pool for the rest of vacation. Bliss!

Max taking a little break from all the fun ;)

The view was amazing! We watched ships and dolphins every day. Can't wait to visit again.

Love this family!
