Creek playing, The Circus and Randomness at home

We had a fun visit with cousins recently. Brandon and Tyler came to visit with Grandma for the weekend. Mason and Max LOVE to hang out with their cousins. It's time full of playing games, sword fights, battles and just plain boy craziness! This visit we headed down to the creek near our house while the little ones were napping. It was the perfect day of not too hot but just warm enough to brave the cold water. They had a blast and can't wait to visit Brandon and Tyler at their house to play in the creek they have not too far from their home.

The Circus came to town! Yes, really a circus. We didn't actually go to the performance but we did head out to the fairgrounds for the raising of the big top! We headed out with friends for the morning and ran into a lot of people we knew!  It was pretty interesting to see the elephant raise the tent. It was also fun to get an up close look at a few of the animals without pushing through a crowd of people. Thinking next year we may try to see the actual performance. But, hey, it was pretty fun for free!!

 Max was all about riding the pony. Matthew, not so much. I have a feeling at the upcoming family reunion we'll have a hard time keeping Max off the big horses and Matthew from wanting to ride the ponies all day!

 The boys got matching Norris City Fire shirts for Easter. They LOVE them. They all wear it at least once a week!

 Matthew has big shoes to fill!! And..his pacifier obsession. As we get closer to needing to get rid of them he is wanting them more. Brad zipped tied them together so he could have them all. This boys walked around like this for a few days!
