Summer Camps and Adventures

Mason and Max have been enjoying a few camps over the summer. I mean, let's be honest, they only want to spend a small amount of time at home and would rather spend some time with other kids. I even think one of them mentioned how they were excited to get away from the "babies" for a while. Really, home is not THAT bad! I admit, it is fun to get away from the house for a few hours every day. Keeps us out of a rut :) Wait, this place is a zoo!! Anyway, a few fun photos from our summer adventures so far.
We headed to a free lunchtime animal presentation at one of the parks here in town. The boys loved the show but was even more excited about petting all the animals afterward. Do you really call holding a snake "petting it"? It was all I could do to take this picture before I freaked out over the snake!
A little after hair cuts stop for some ice cream.

Both boys really enjoyed vacation bible school at church. This was the first year Max could go. They both were excited every morning to get up and go. I could have been that our friend, Traci, took them every day too! I loved the concert that they did on the final day. The boys really did learn something while they were there!!

A How to Train Your Dragon 2 date with cousins.

Mason and Max attended a sports camp for a week. Matthew, Miles and I enjoyed the playground while they were at camp. It was beautiful weather, the older boys had fun learning new skills and the littles had fun spending time with mom!
