Weekend Happenings

This weekend was a nice relaxing weekend at home!  By relaxing I mean trying to get all the things done around the house that needed to be done because we have been busy during the week.  Relaxing has now taken on a whole new meaning! We did however have a few fun moments. We had the neighbors over for a cookout since they were busy building a new treehouse.  Yeah, call it bribery since we are hoping that by inviting them over for dinner they are able to finish the treehouse sooner thus allowing our kids to spend more time at their house :) I did though get this cute pic of the kiddos on their picnic.

Brad spent a spent a good deal of time washing the plane.  I do say it did need a good washing.  Funny though for the poor guy, it seems like the birds have the plane on target.  Not long after being all clean they come and mess it up! 

Cleaning is a messy job!

Finally, it looks like we're getting new neighbors.  Or, should I say roommates.  We really never thought someone would build on the lot behind our house but it looks like that might be the case.  Let's just hope they like us.  We're going to be close, really close!
