Beginning of summer update

I realized just recently that it has been a while since my last update. Time really does fly. Since Mason and Max are out of pre-school, MOPS is done for the summer and our usual winter events have ceased for the time being I'm getting a little behind on things. To say the least. Anyway, finally a little re-cap of what we've been happening in the Moore household.

Ears

Yes, the ears have it. Or, better said at our house, the ears strike again. Matthew had his first, let's hope only, set of tubes put in about a month ago.

Poor little guy! At his last check-up with the ENT he is doing great. A few days later, yep a few days later, Mason and Max had their 6-month check-up after their tonsil and adenoid surgeries. That visit, not so inspiring. Max has one tube blocked, yay! Mason, whose tubes were supposed to last 1-2 years, have already fallen out. WHAT!! After 6-months. So...the ENT is hoping that since we took out both their tonsils and adenoids that the ear problem will not be such a problem anymore. We are the lucky family that gets to follow up again in 6-months. Our appointments will be in December to meet that deductible :) They do have an awesome kids waiting room though, thank goodness!

Baseball

Mason had his last t-ball game of the summer last week. It really went by fast and he LOVED it. He's already talking about playing again next year. Max is already gearing up to play when he's four, or so he says.

Max and Matthew liked hanging out watching the game. Think they both really just enjoyed being outside. You can tell the last game was a hot one but I was so proud of Mason. He hung in there and didn't complain at all. As a side note, yes, that is a random belt Mason is wearing. His friend on the team had the cool baseball pants that included a belt. His did not come with one, so we improvised. He didn't care and he also had a cool belt with his baseball pants!

Outdoor Fun

All my boys LOVE to be outside. I think they would even sleep outside if we let them. In fact, Brad promised a camp out in the back yard soon. Wonder if he'll own up to that one :)

Mason climbed the tree, with a little help. Claimed he is bird watching!
Happy in the swing!
Batman headed outside, ready to save the day :)

Vacation Bible School

This was the first year Mason was able to attend Vacation Bible School at church. Thanks to our wonderful friend, Traci, for taking and picking him up every day! Max was bummed he wasn't old enough to go but we enjoyed some Max and mommy time in the mornings while Mason was away. I do believe Mason had a GREAT time. He was always so excited to come home and show us what he had done that day. He carried is "passport' around for days after it was over.

Weekly Randomness

A few pictures I couldn't resist posting. Wanted to keep these memories :)

Arrr Matey!
Thinking it's about time for the little guy to get a haircut. Just holding out until he's one. Can't seem to bring myself to cutting it before he's even one!
We met my college girlfriend a couple of weekends ago for some "catch up" time.  We ended up taking the kiddos to a fun park. Mason and Max LOVED the go-karts. Thanks to Glenn for taking Max for a ride!
Yard-sale find equals many hours of fun.
