Max started pedaling the tricycle on his own!! He is getting to be such a big boy! He love to follow Mason down the sidewalk like he's a speed demon. Next up, big boy bike!!
We headed to the zoo one day to meet Aunt Steph, Brandon and Tyler to celebrate the older boys' end of school year. We had a blast. So much, that we stayed until after the zoo shut down not realizing closing time. It was beautiful weather and my boys love being with their cousins. I love how they all get along so well!
(Note that I'm in the back taking the picture. I was afraid this pregnant lady needed a seat of her own!!!)
"Tractor" Grandma (as Mason has named her) and Aunt Steph came to visit for a day. I'm sure it was nice for them to get away for a bit and it was fun for us to visit for the day. Of course, the boys were super excited that the hotel they stayed in had an indoor pool. I can't believe they are both swimming practically by themselves, with the help of their little swimmers! I have a feeling we are going to be doing a lot of swimming this summer :)
Speaking of swimming. Who would have thought we would be swimming outside in the middle of May! The weather has been so warm and finally this past weekend we broke down and go the kid pool out. Why not when it's in the upper 80's outside. The boys were in the pool all afternoon! Only when it started to cloud up could we convince them it was time to get out. Now only if there was enough room for me and a reclining floatation device in there!!
Finally, I had to add this picture. It's the view of our backyard from our back patio. I LOVE it! Don't get me wrong we have neighbors on either side of us and still live in a sub-division but it is so nice to look out the back and see a wooded view. Makes me feel at home and not crowded by people. The feeling of country I guess. I'm starting to love this new town. For instance, you can get anywhere you want in 10 minutes, our neighbors have been extremely friendly, there is a Target 5 minutes away but yet I get this view and passed a tractor driving down the road in the middle of town. Bliss!
